Last year, my partner and I upgraded our electric heater with a gas heater, but my friend and I debated for numerous weeks on the kind of heater my buddy and I were going to install, however my buddy and I ultimately chose the gas heater because it was strong and efficient. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional’s my buddy and I spoke to assured us that the gas heater was the best option for heating our house during the brutal winters up north. My partner was all for installing a gas heater over an eclectic heater, although I was easily hesitant, i didn’t love the idea of gas running in our property and the thought of carbon monoxide poisoning was frightening! After a few weeks of research and getting professional opinions, my buddy and I settled on the gas heater as long as carbon monoxide detectors were sited around the house. My friend and I had the gas heater installed in the Springtime last year, and I haven’t thought much about it since. There was no need to run it during the Springtime and summer time months, however now that the temperatures have dropped, it’s time to run the heater. My partner was ready to turn the gas heater on a week ago, although I held him off by saying that the property wasn’t that cold… Unluckyly, where my buddy and I live, the temperatures are already dipping past 30 degrees in the days and days and my buddy and I need the heat to keep us warm. I told my partner how I was scared about turning on the gas heater and she sympathizes with me. To make me feel better, she hired an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional to come repair the gas heater one more time before turning it on. This put me at ease.
