Central A/C For My Renovated House

I bought this house with the intention of renovating everything.

It was a house built in the 68’s, so everything was seasoned as well as the previous owner didn’t spare any expenses trying to update it before he or she left.

There were blatant cosmetic swings such as the wallpaper in every room, shag carpet, as well as dark paneling along the walls that needed to be upgraded as soon as I moved in… However, there were other swings like the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system that needed attention before I moved my belongings into the house. The A/C system was over 15 years seasoned as well as there was an seasoned dial thermostat used to change the temperature, even though the inspection report said that the A/C system still worked, I knew it would cost me more currency to run it than it would to just upgrade it altogether, then when I called the local Heating as well as Air Conditioning company for suggestions, I was surprised at the chances I had. I could install central AC, a heat pump, ductless mini split system, or a window A/C unit. I contemplated what I was going to install, because I wanted this new A/C system to be efficient, sturdy, as well as reliable. The house already had ductwork for central AC, so I genuinely leaned toward that option. I also considered the heat pump, because it was a good source of A/C as well as heat. However, heat pumps were expensive as well as not particularly upgraded. This is why I ended up selecting the central A/C option to cool my house.
